PRESS RELEASE

Community Centre gets business minded

Local businesses can now get access to cost effective high quality meeting space in the heart of Maidstone, and at the same time do their bit to support the work of an important community facility.

Whether it’s a meeting for two, or conference venue capable of looking after up to 150 people, the Maidstone Community Support Centre (MCSC) in Marsham Street, offers a varied and cost effective meeting room solution.

Located just minutes from the M20 and bus and train stations, this fine Victorian building was adapted in 1988 to provide affordable office and meeting space for charitable and community organisations, and proving increasingly popular with companies from Maidstone and surrounding area.

The fully modernised meeting and conference facilities include eight meeting rooms, which are available on an hourly basis, seven days a week for meetings, training, away-days, seminars and conferences. Each room comes complete with AV equipment, WiFi, laptop, multimedia projector, DVD, VCR and TV whiteboard and flip charts, ensuring that the all-in price is very reasonable.

Photocopying, faxing, laminating up to A3 and brochure collation can also be supplied at an additional charge.

The Centre is fully accessible for wheelchair users with additional facilities and dedicated parking by prior arrangement. An on-site catering team provide a real treat from early morning to mid afternoon with a selection of hot and cold snacks, daily specials and many buffet options.

MCSC have just launched a new website www.mcsc.org.uk, on which full details of meeting rooms can be found. Availability of the rooms can be checked and bookings made. Alternatively, the Centre can be contacted on 01622 690369
